The Killing Kind, Bryan Smith!

I don't know about anyone else, but I am a horror fanatic! Classic horror or gruesome horror; I'll watch it.

I'm so used to watching scary movies that I never really thought about scary books.
Now, I'm not talking your creepy R.L. Stine type of books that give you goosebumps (see what I did there?), I'm talking bone chilling, nightmare worthy, pure horror.

So when I saw The Late Night Horror Show movie, I thought it was totally epic. Not once did it occur to me that an author had written it and it was a book.
So imagine my surprise when I saw it on Goodreads by Bryan Smith.
I obviously added it to my to-reads and checked out his other books.
I was looking through his books when I saw one that just compelled me:
The Killing Kind.

So what do I do? I go out and get it.
Once it's in my hands, I read it. Not all of it, though. Just three chapters. And those three chapters were enough to freak me out. Later on, I finished the whole book and was not disappointed!
The Killing Kind is told by three different point of views that tie together extraordinarily in the end.
I've never read anything like The Killing Kind and Bryan Smith was just so freaking creative with it.
This is the type of horror I love.
And now that I know horror comes in book form, I'm officially hooked.
You might think The Killing Kind is sick and twisted when or if you read it, but that's horror, people.
You ask for horror and Bryan Smith will hand it to you on a shining gold platter.

I also heard his Queen of the Dead book is really good, too, and I plan on reading it. When I do, I'll give my review to you readers.
Till then, please do feel free to comment and tell me your thoughts or if you're looking for a good book recommendation.

And try giving The Killing Kind or other Bryan Smith books a go.
You might just never put his books down.
